Welcome to Plan Your Path to Wellness!

My name is Angie Grubbs. I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the great state of Kentucky! I have started my path to wellness numerous times. I have counted all the points, calories, and deprived myself of foods I love. I did all this only to gain all the weight back when the “plan” stopped. It wasn’t until the end of 2018 when I finally decided this new “plan” was going to be a lifestyle. What did this mean to me? This meant that I wasn’t going to deprive myself all week only to erase all my progress with every weekend binge. This meant that I wasn’t going to feel guilty for eating the cupcake or having the mid-week beer. This meant I wasn’t going to talk in terms of being “on track” and “off track”. This meant I AM going to allow myself to eat my treats during the week, allow myself to continue my good nutrition through the weekends and allow myself to begin a workout routine.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am able to help patients improve their relationship with food. Some patients want to lose weight, some need to change their eating habits to decrease their cholesterol, and some do not know how to eat healthy. Many of the tips I am going to share here, I share daily in my job.
