Family Fun Night at Home

I have been trying to make the weekends fun, while still staying safe and healthy at home! Last weekend I made a special dinner (see below) and we played board games.

A Special Dinner

For dinner, I made a charcuterie board. It was a HUGE hit with the entire family. This is the first time I have done something like this, but my kids have been asking for the “special dinner” since! Charcuterie boards can be filled with a variety of things. Here is a list of what I put on our board:

  • Salami
  • Colby cheese slices
  • Cauliflower
  • Grapes
  • Crackers
  • Pretzels
  • Pickles
  • Garlic hummus
  • Ranch

Keep it simple! Fill it with a meat, a cheese or 2, fresh fruit and veggies, pickles, crackers and pretzels, and a few dips. I put the board in the middle of our coffee table and let the kids pick whatever they wanted off the board.

Games

We love board games. I try to find games that will entertain the entire family, which can be difficult at times with a 3-year-old. We finally found a game that the whole family LOVES! That game is ZINGO. Have you played it? We have played it every night for the last week! I can’t wait until we can get together with cousins again to see the kids play all together.

Other games we love as a family:

And there you have it! A fun family night at home! Share with me on social media if you create your own version.
