Birthday Gift Guide: 4-year-old Girl

My kids’ birthdays are back-to-back! It can be exhausting, but it is fun that little sister doesn’t have to wait too long after big brother for her special day! 

We started the day again with our favorite local donuts (Donut Days in Lexington, KY), went to the Salato Wildlife Center after lunch and to visit our state’s capital. For dinner, we had breakfast, at the birthday girl’s request. Oh, and carrot cake! Yes, my 4-year-old says carrot cake is her FAVORITE, just like her momma.

My girl LOVES all things baby. We have approximately 27 baby dolls, so I thought it was time to get her a different type of doll. I am not willing to pay the American Girl Doll price tag (at least not right now), so I ordered Target’s version and it is SO CUTE! Target was running a buy 1, get one 50% off sale on this line when I bought it. The sale made an already great price that much more affordable!

• Our Generation Doll — This is Target’s version of the American Girl Doll at a fraction of the cost. I am 100% pleased with this doll and the price! My girl was super excited hers came with a dog. This is Leslie and her dog Toby!
• Our Generation Deluxe Dog House Set — Well, Toby had to have a dog house, right? This is the perfect accessory to go with this doll and her doggie!
• Our Generation Deluxe Dressing Room Set — My sweet girl loves make-up and pretend play, too.
• More Our Generation Accessories — So, Leslie had to have a few outfits — pajamas and a movie theater outfit. Also, this hair care set is a must!
• Booster seat for doll — I thought it would be fun to get a little booster seat so we can take Leslie in the car with us! This one is too cute. Easy to put together and fits the Our Generation Doll perfect!
• Slippers — Sis wanted slippers just like her momma. I found this ADORABLE pair and they are SO soft!
• I Spy books — Again, we love I Spy books. I got this book and this book!

The doll with the puppy was definitely her favorite gift!
