30 Dinner Ideas

Not sure what to have for dinner this week? Not sure what to have for dinner this month? Look no further! I have rounded up a list of the most common recipes I fix. It’s good to keep a list and just rotate the recipes! Sometimes, I have to look back at my own list to get ideas! Make sure to save this post so that you have it to quickly reference for later!

30 Dinner Recipes

  1. Easy Chicken Stir Fry – The sauce in this recipe is really good! When I am in a hurry, I use the frozen stir fry veggies instead of fresh.
  2. One Pan Sausage and Veggies – This is the sheet pan meal we LOVE. I stopped putting in the green beans (my kids won’t eat them) and instead use broccoli, peppers, and potatoes.
  3. Chicken Pot Pie – This is my most requested recipe and it is SO EASY! The homemade cream of chicken soup is what makes it, so don’t substitute that for the canned stuff!
  4. Italian Pasta Skillet – This is a great one skillet meal that my family loves! You can even sneak some spinach in on the family!
  5. Pork Tacos – Even my 7-year-old requests these tacos! They are SOOOOO good! Even if I have leftover pulled pork, I just reseason it in the skillet for this recipe.
  6. Oven Chicken Fajitas – This is a budget friendly meal! This is also a meal that I prep ahead of time (cut it all up the night before, put it in a casserole dish in the fridge overnight and then pop in the oven when we get home from work to save time.
  7. Homemade Hamburger Helper – Did you grow up eating hamburger helper? I can’t say that I did, but my husband talks about it all the time, so I found this recipe as a compromise! LOL!
  8. Ranch Chicken Bites – YUM! Ranch and chicken are two big favorites in this house! Pair these with a couple of bags of frozen veggies and you have a complete meal!
  9. Queso Chicken Tacos – Here’s your next ‘Taco Tuesday’ recipe! If it involves the slow cooker, it’s usually a winner in my book!
  10. Oven Baked Meatball Sandwiches – We just ate these last night! I buy the Cooked Perfect Brand Homestyle frozen meatballs. Kroger runs them on sale all the time — a 64 count for $5.99!
  11. Easy Chicken Enchiladas – Here’s another one of my easy recipes with just a few ingredients! I am telling y’all, quick and easy is the name of the game around here.
  12. Crockpot BBQ Chicken – I LOVE this BBQ chicken recipe. Her combination for the sauce is perfect AND, you guessed it, EASY!
  13. Frittata – This obvioulsy passes as a breakfast recipe too, but we love to eat it for dinner.
  14. Sweet and Tangy Chicken Wrap – Sometimes, I love just a good sandwich or wrap for dinner, especially in the summertime.
  15. Burrito Zucchini Boats – I am waiting on some garden fresh zucchini to make these again! Honestly, the biggest pain about this recipe for me was scooping out the zucchini HA! It’s a really great and fresh recipe!
  16. Garlic Butter Chicken Bites – Give me all things garlic! We are big fans of garlic around here. This recipe pairs these with asparagus, which we love, but you could also do another vegetable like broccoli or squash and zucchini.
  17. One Pan Rice and Sausage – This was my ‘Frugal Friday’ featured meal a few weeks ago on Instagram! It was a BIG hit. A budget friendly, healthy meal for the family! AND, if you aren’t following me over on Instagram (@angiebrubbs) what are you waiting for?!)
  18. Easy Chicken Tacos – This recipe uses a rotisserie chicken which makes it the perfect weeknight meal for the busy family! I love to pick up a rotisserie chicken for my meal prep – I let the grocery do the prep for me!
  19. Chicken Parm Stuffed Peppers – Stuffed peppers are labor intensive, I think, so I don’t make these often, but they are worth it!
  20. Mexican Chicken Bowls – I honestly used to make these once a week and I had forgotten about them until I was working on this blog post! Adding these to the menu next week. They are just a great way to make one meal, but still give everyone there own choice to individualize their dish with different add-ins/toppings.
  21. Loaded Burger Bowls – I am a big fan of throwing it all in a bowl and mixing it together. It’s just good to me. So, any recipe that is a “bowl-type” is appealing to me. Love these burger bowls for a spin on a burger! If you want to ditch the bun, try these!
  22. Egg Roll in a Bowl – OK, see what I mean, another bowl recipe! But, this one is really good and REALLY easy! I use bagged slaw because I do not have time to cut up my own cabbage. 🙂
  23. Baked Spaghetti – This is a great recipe to serve a large crowd, to make and freeze, to make and have leftovers, to make for a friend, etc. Who doesn’t LOVE baked spaghetti?
  24. Vegetarian Ramen – It seems so simple for what it is, but it is SO good. If you are a ramen fan, you have got to try this recipe!
  25. French Bread Pizzas – PIZZA NIGHT and everybody gets to have their own! This is an easy way. You don’t have to make your own dough, either.
  26. Quick Chicken Quesadillas – Quesadillas is a go-to easy meal for us! I keep the ingredients on hand at all times. If we get home late, if I haven’t planned dinner, if we just need something easy, quesadillas is usually an option!
  27. Slow Cooker Lasagna – An easy alternative to the traditional lasagna and still just as delicious!
  28. White Chicken Chili – In the mood for soup? You need to try my white chicken chili recipe! We like to serve it with corn bread.
  29. Drip Beef Sandwiches – Here is another great sandwich option that uses the slow cooker! Win-win in my book!
  30. Crockpot Sausage and Cheese Tortellini – Another family favorite. If I can find something both of my kids will actually eat too, it stays in the rotation!

Share with me in the comments if you make one of the recipes!

Love your emphasis on one-pot and easy to prepare meals. No need to spend hours getting a meal ready, especially when you are working and spending the free time you have with your kids. Family first, and enjoying a meal together is great family time.
